Charista, the founder of San Juan Sitters, has dedicated her 15+ year career to providing exceptional childcare. With extensive experience as a nanny, in daycare settings, and private childcare, she has worked with children of all ages, creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments. Her passion for childcare goes beyond supervision—she believes in fostering creativity, connection, and fun while ensuring parents have peace of mind. Drawing from years of hands-on experience, Charista carefully vets and trains every sitter to uphold the highest standards of care. Whether families are vacationing in the San Juan Mountains or attending a special event, her goal is to provide reliable, high-quality childcare that makes every experience stress-free and enjoyable for both parents and children. Charista resides in Ridgway Colorado with her fiancé Justin and their pack of animals which includes her 2 cats, 2 dogs and 1 jumping spider. When she's not in Telluride working with kids, she enjoys being outside with her family participating in snowboarding, camping, wild ice skating, hiking, off road wheeling and more!
